Tarifiniz Terms of Use

Version: 1.0.2 Effective date: 2026-10-27

These Terms explain your rights and responsibilities when using your Tarifiniz account, personal recipe notebook, sharing links and paid features.

1. Scope and service provider

1.1 These Terms of Use cover the Tarifiniz mobile application and related services on tarifiniz.com. The provider is Ertuğrul Helvacıköylü (an individual). Address: Yenişehir Mah. Selçuklu Cad. No:2F B5/7, 34912 Pendik, İstanbul, Türkiye. Support and complaints: support@tarifiniz.com. “We” means the provider and “you” means the user.

1.2 You must be able to review these Terms before opening an account. You enter into the service agreement by completing the account creation step that clearly states acceptance of these Terms. Paid services also require the conditions presented at purchase. Relevant rules in Sections 10, 12 and 13 apply to visitors to shared pages; reading a page does not create a paid subscription.

1.3 The Privacy Policy and KVKK Information Notice separately explain personal data processing: Privacy Policy and KVKK Information Notice. Accepting these Terms is not blanket explicit consent to health data processing, marketing or international data transfers.

2. What the service provides

2.1 Tarifiniz is a personal recipe notebook. Features include writing recipes; importing from text, public links or notebook page photographs; requesting AI drafts from dish names; calculating portions and measures; adding dish photographs; Kitchen Mode, timers and read-aloud; pantry and cooking records; weekly planning, shopping lists and sharing individual recipes. Availability depends on your plan, device and the features enabled in your version.

2.2 The interface offers Turkish and English language settings. A language choice does not automatically translate your original recipes or change the measure engine to support other culinary traditions: the engine processes Turkish kitchen phrases and some service notifications are in Turkish. This version does not provide health-based adaptations, ingredient price estimates, a shared family notebook or a printed-book service. Future product ideas are not part of your purchase.

3.1 Tarifiniz is not intended for account registration by children under 13. Users aged 13–17 may use it only with the involvement and necessary permission of a parent or guardian; the legal representative must give any acceptance required for the agreement and paid purchases. A child’s use alone does not constitute their representative’s acceptance. Stricter local age and capacity rules remain applicable.

4. Account and device security

4.1 Your account is linked to an email address, verified by a six-digit email code or, where offered on your device, Apple or Google. Your trusted device authenticates subsequent access. Tarifiniz does not use passwords. Access on multiple devices does not provide separate accounts for other people or a shared family notebook.

4.2 Protect your mailbox and device and do not share sign-in codes. Remove lost, sold or unused devices from the trusted-device list in the Siz section. Removal takes effect on the next server request; it does not remotely erase an offline copy. Signing out withdraws that device’s sign-in trust. Contact support if you suspect unauthorized access. These duties do not remove our data security obligations.

5. Storage and offline use

5.1 Your recipes, notebooks and attached dish photographs sync with your account. Downloaded recipes can be read offline; new imports, AI features, syncing and photographs not yet downloaded may require a connection. Not every feature’s data syncs across devices; locally stored weekly plans, pantry entries and shopping lists are examples.

5.2 We take reasonable technical and organizational measures for storage and syncing, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that data loss can never occur. Keep an additional copy of irreplaceable recipes. This recommendation does not limit statutory rights relating to defective services or data security breaches.

6. Free use and paid plans

6.1 Tarifiniz offers free use and paid subscriptions. Plan names, the scope of free use and the features included in paid plans are shown on the relevant plan screens in the app. Recipe, notebook, device, photograph and AI usage limits may differ between plans. Unlimited use of one feature does not mean that other features are also unlimited.

6.2 Before you confirm a purchase, the purchase screen and relevant pre-contract information clearly present the paid plan’s features, numerical usage limits, allowance reset rules, tax-inclusive price, currency, billing period and the conditions of any trial attached to a purchase. The free trial that requires no purchase is governed by Sections 6.4 and 8.5. The plan scope presented to you and accepted at purchase forms part of the service agreement. A later change to the current plan screen does not automatically change the scope of your purchased period; changes and protection of paid periods are governed by Section 8.6 and Section 20.

6.3 Recipe, notebook and photograph limits govern additions. Recipes in the trash do not count towards the recipe limit; archived recipes do. When you reach the device limit, you may replace a previously trusted device without deleting your recipes. Section 8.6 applies to your existing content when a subscription ends or you move to a lower plan.

6.4 The free trial is offered once per person, and also only once per Apple or Google account and per email address. Opening, deleting and re-opening or multiplying accounts (including with new email aliases) to obtain another trial or more AI allowance is prohibited. AI features are subject to fair-use limits: daily and monthly allowances by plan, a total allowance during the trial, a limit on failed attempts and a cap on one account’s daily AI spend (Section 7). AI features may be refused or suspended for an account that abuses these limits; Section 16.2 applies to notice and challenge. The limited record kept to prevent repeated trials is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. AI usage allowances

7.1 Access to AI features and daily or monthly allowances depend on your plan; numerical allowances are disclosed before purchase under Section 6. A pass is counted when AI produces a draft or new image, even if you do not save the draft. An operation producing no result, an identical request served from a cached result, or a structured recipe page processed without a model does not count.

7.2 Daily allowances reset at 00:00 UTC and monthly allowances at 00:00 UTC on the first day of the calendar month, currently 03:00 in Türkiye. Monthly allowances do not follow your billing date and unused passes do not roll over. If the service’s total daily AI capacity is reached, AI access may pause until the next UTC day even if you have passes remaining; no pass is deducted during that pause. Manual entry is unaffected by this AI restriction.

7.3 Exhausting your personal allowance differs from a temporary service capacity restriction. A capacity restriction or other failure does not remove statutory remedies if the purchased service is not properly supplied.

8. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds

8.1 In-app purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play. The store collects payment; Tarifiniz does not receive your card details. Purchases are linked to the Tarifiniz account open at purchase. You may restore purchases on the same account. An active store subscription linked to another Tarifiniz account is not automatically transferred to the new account. If the receipt has no active subscription, it may be associated with the Tarifiniz account currently open during purchase or restoration, subject to store verification.

8.2 Selecting a recurring subscription in the store may result in another charge at the end of the billing period, subject to your selection and applicable law. The purchase screen explains the period, renewal charge and any conversion of a trial attached to a purchase into paid service; the free trial that requires no purchase (Section 8.5) does not convert into paid service. Where law requires a further request or consent for renewal, renewal is not binding without it.

8.3 To stop future renewal, use Settings > your name > Subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play > profile > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions on Android. Observe the store’s deadline; Apple generally requires cancellation at least 24 hours before the period ends to prevent renewal. Ordinary cancellation of renewal leaves access until the paid period ends. Deleting the app or your Tarifiniz account does not automatically cancel the store subscription.

8.4 For Apple subscriptions in Türkiye, Apple Support also offers immediate cancellation with a refund for the remaining term: Apple subscription cancellation in Türkiye. Statutory early termination and refund rights also remain available. These Terms do not mean that every cancellation takes effect only at the end of a billing period.

8.5 Withdrawal, defective-service remedies, price reductions and refunds are governed by applicable law. Tarifiniz’s free trial that requires no purchase (when offered; Section 6.4) is not a purchase: no payment is requested, it starts no store subscription, nothing renews automatically, and when it ends your account returns to the plan you have bought, or to free use if you have bought none. If a trial attached to a purchase is offered, its duration and first charge are disclosed before purchase. We do not treat every transaction as automatically exempt from withdrawal merely because the service is digital; any exemption requires its legal conditions and necessary advance information. You may use the store’s refund process and contact us as well; store rules do not override mandatory consumer rights.

8.6 When a subscription ends or you move to a lower plan, existing recipes, notebooks and photographs are not deleted because of plan limits. Reading, editing, cooking and sharing remain available; additions and paid-only features may be restricted. Price and scope changes are disclosed in advance; we do not reduce the scope of an already paid period to your disadvantage during that period.

9. Your content and permission to operate the service

9.1 You retain your existing rights in your own recipes, original text, notes and photographs. Tarifiniz does not acquire ownership. The same ownership cannot be assumed for imported third-party content, publisher images or AI outputs; Sections 10 and 11 apply to those materials.

9.2 By keeping content in the service, you give us, to the extent you hold the necessary rights, a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, back up, sync, technically resize, structure into recipe drafts, calculate measures and display it to you. The relevant recipe may be displayed to visitors only through a sharing link you open. Our service providers may perform these operations only as needed to supply the service.

9.3 This is not permission for general publication, sale, advertising or model training. We do not use private recipes in advertising, sell them or allocate them to model training. Permission ends when content is lawfully removed from the service; for personal notebook content on account deletion, it ends upon completion of erasure. Deleting a single recipe under Section 14 does not fully remove its server content.

9.4 You must have the rights and permissions necessary for uploading or sharing content. Respect copyright and personal-data rules where another person’s name, words, image or private information is involved. A recipe’s family origin does not automatically remove those requirements.

10. Third-party recipes and sources

10.1 Being able to import a public recipe page does not mean you may republish its text or image. You may save it for personal use within the scope permitted by law or the rights holder. Attribution alone does not replace permission where permission is required. Check your right to share before opening a public link.

10.2 Imports preserve the source address and available publisher attribution. You may not use the service to bypass logins, paywalls or technical access restrictions. This version does not extract recipes described only within a video. Third-party sites may change, restrict access or remove content; successful import of every link is not guaranteed.

10.3 Report rights violations to support@tarifiniz.com with the right concerned, the content’s location or sharing URL, your reasons and contact details. We review reports and restrict access or remove content where necessary. Review and intervention are limited to the necessary scope.

11. AI, measures and images

11.1 AI may misread a source, omit ingredients or produce an incorrect proposal. Review drafts before saving and cooking. Safeguards are intended to reduce errors, not guarantee their absence. Automatic measure and portion calculations do not replace original phrases; derived values are shown separately. Your own edits may change the text you store.

11.2 Measure calculations depend on assumptions about vessels, spoons, density and ingredients. An uncertain phrase such as “göz kararı” remains uncertain after conversion and is marked accordingly. An arithmetically exact calculation is not a laboratory measurement of the physical amount. Tarifiniz is not a cooking authority supplying times or temperatures absent from the source.

11.3 Text or notebook page images you select for recipe extraction may be sent to a model service as needed for that task. Your dish photographs are not sent to a model for this purpose. Dictation into the text-entry field is handled by your phone’s keyboard; Tarifiniz does not record or store audio through that feature. Keyboard dictation is governed by its provider’s terms.

11.4 Image generation is offered only when you request it and the recipe has no picture. The model receives the dish name and ingredient names. The result is labelled as an AI image, not a photograph of your actual dish. Other accounts may use the same drawing for the same dish name, so we do not promise an exclusive image or exclusive rights. The shared drawing is not removed when you delete your account. Your own dish photograph takes cover priority once added. Rights in publisher images remain with their rights holders.

11.5 We do not guarantee that an AI output is original, copyrightable or free of third-party rights. You may review and save it for your own use; republication or commercial use requires a separate rights assessment.

12. Health, food safety and Kitchen Mode

12.1 Tarifiniz is not a medical or dietetic service. Measures, recipe proposals and pantry records do not guarantee absence of allergens, a therapeutic diet, unspoiled food or safe cooking. Do not determine medication or insulin doses from app figures. Consult a physician or dietitian for health decisions, and separately check ingredient labels, storage conditions and cross-contact risks.

12.2 Health adaptation is disabled in this version. If introduced later, its scope and data processing will be explained separately and any required explicit consent for health data obtained in that context. These Terms do not authorize future health processing in advance.

12.3 Timers count a duration in your recipe or one you select. Device state, permissions, power management, connectivity or the operating system may delay or prevent alarms, reminders and notifications. Kitchen Mode is not a safety alarm; do not leave cooking unattended. Voice commands are recognized on-device at your request on supported devices; read-aloud depends on the device’s speech engine.

12.4 Nutrition facts show approximate values calculated on your phone from the grams of a recipe's ingredients and a published food composition table (USDA). They are not personalised, make no suggestion for your health condition and are not medical or dietary advice; ingredients measured by hand, written as a count or without an exact match in the table are marked as estimates, and ingredients with no match are left out. Ingredients that only partly end up in the dish (for example frying oil) can make a value read higher than it is. Do not determine medication or insulin doses from these values. You can turn nutrition facts off in Settings.

13.1 Opening a link for one recipe lets anyone who knows its address read it without an account and forward it to others. A link is not identity-based access control. The page may show the title, attribution, description, portions and times, ingredients and calculated measures, steps, recipe asides, source type, capture date and source URL.

13.2 Private account notes, tags, category, cuisine and difficulty fields, health adaptations, notebook name and all photos and images are excluded from shared pages in this version. However, personal information you put into a shared description, ingredient, step or recipe aside will be visible. Check those fields before sharing.

13.3 The page is live and synced edits appear on it. You may close the link. Archiving does not close it. Moving a recipe to the trash makes the page unavailable; restoring it may make the existing link available again. Permanent deletion closes the link. Sharing again after you close a link creates a new address. Closing a link cannot erase screenshots or copies already obtained by others.

13.4 A visitor may read the recipe for personal use. A link does not itself grant republication or commercial-use rights. Respect others’ rights and attribution; bulk scraping and attempts to discover other recipe links are prohibited.

14. Recipe deletion and account erasure

14.1 Delete moves a recipe to the trash and can be undone. Permanently delete or Empty trash removes it from your devices through syncing and makes it unrecoverable through the product. However, its server text and attached photographs are retained until account erasure; this operation is not full server erasure. A deletion record prevents an offline device from recreating the old recipe.

14.2 Keeping the recipe body differs from keeping only a deletion record; the current implementation retains the body for possible future notebook search and indexing. This explanation is not a waiver or explicit consent making retention lawful in every case. Request full erasure of a record at [support@tarifiniz.com]. Requests are assessed under applicable data-protection law; statutory erasure rights are not conditional on deleting your entire account.

14.3 You may erase your account using the account-and-notebook deletion action in Siz. Successful erasure is irreversible and removes the service account, recipes, photographs, import records, purged recipes and deletion records. There is no thirty-day recovery period. If the technical operation cannot complete, erasure is not treated as completed and an error is reported. Where applicable, the Sign in with Apple authorization is also revoked. Shared AI drawings are separate from personal notebook content and remain as described in Section 11.4.

14.4 Copies on other disconnected devices and copies outside the service may not be remotely removed at once. To remove local copies, clear the app and its local data on that device. Stores are responsible for their own transaction records and legally required retention. Account erasure does not replace subscription cancellation.

15. Permitted use and intellectual property

15.1 You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on compatible devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial purposes. Tarifiniz software, branding and original interface assets belong to us or our licensors. Open-source components retain their own licences; your content rights are protected under Section 9.

15.2 You must not access another account, impersonate others, upload malware, use infringing content, bulk-scan servers or sharing addresses, bypass rate or plan limits, or resell the service without permission. Attempts to derive source code or bypass security are prohibited except where permitted by law or an open-source licence. You may report good-faith security findings to support.

16. Interruptions, changes and discontinuation

16.1 Maintenance, failures, security incidents or third-party outages may affect access. Where possible, we give advance notice of planned material changes and provide necessary corrections and legally required updates. Beta or test status does not remove statutory rights. Sections 8 and 17 apply if paid services are not properly supplied.

16.2 We may proportionately suspend a feature or account for a serious breach, security threat or legal requirement. Where possible, we first explain the reason and an opportunity to remedy it; urgent action may be followed by notice. You may challenge the decision through support. Suspension does not create an unconditional right to retain fees or personal data indefinitely.

16.3 If we discontinue the service, we give reasonable advance notice unless legal or urgent security constraints prevent it, and take necessary steps to stop new sales and renewals. During the notified period, we provide an opportunity to access and obtain a copy of your content. Statutory refund and termination rights for unsupplied paid service remain available. These Terms do not promise a dedicated in-app export feature.

17. Liability and consumer rights

17.1 The service does not guarantee error-free AI outputs, a particular cooking result or delivery of every notification. We nevertheless remain obliged to supply the advertised and purchased service as agreed, protect personal data and address statutory defective-service claims.

17.2 These Terms do not exclude liability for intentional conduct, gross negligence, harm to life, body or health, or other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Your rights under Law No. 6502, KVKK and other mandatory rules remain unaffected. These Terms impose no blanket indemnity or complete exclusion of liability. Using third-party providers does not remove our own contractual or statutory obligations.

18. App Store and Google Play provisions

18.1 For an app obtained from Apple, the agreement is between you and us, not Apple. We are responsible for the app, content, maintenance and support; Apple has no maintenance or support obligation. The licence covers Apple devices you own or control under Apple’s usage rules, including permitted Family Sharing and volume-purchase use.

18.2 If the app fails an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of its purchase price. To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no further warranty obligation. We address other warranty, product, consumer, privacy and regulatory claims, and investigate, defend and resolve claims that the app infringes third-party intellectual property.

18.3 You represent that you are not in a US-embargoed or US-designated terrorist-supporting country or on a US prohibited or restricted-party list. Comply with applicable third-party terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries entitled to enforce this licence upon acceptance. Questions and claims go to the address, email and phone in Section 1.1.

18.4 Relevant Google Play terms additionally apply to an app obtained there. Store usage and payment rules operate alongside these Terms, subject to mandatory law. This section does not promise sharing Tarifiniz plan entitlements between family accounts.

19. Governing law and disputes

19.1 The laws of the Republic of Türkiye apply without removing non-waivable consumer protections or competent remedies available in another country. The Turkish and English versions describe the same Terms; in an interpretation conflict, Turkish prevails to the extent permitted by applicable law. This rule does not restrict mandatory local-language or consumer protections.

19.2 You may contact support@tarifiniz.com about a problem. Contacting us first is not a prerequisite to court or administrative proceedings. Consumer disputes may be brought to consumer arbitration committees or consumer courts under applicable monetary thresholds and jurisdiction rules, subject to mandatory mediation where required. No exclusive city-court clause binds all users.

20. Changes to the Terms and general provisions

20.1 The version and effective date appear at the beginning. Material changes are announced reasonably in advance by email or accessible in-app notice, and any legally required acceptance is separately obtained. Silence or simply opening the app is not acceptance of changes requiring additional agreement. Changes are not applied retroactively; Section 8.6 protects paid periods.

20.2 An invalid provision does not invalidate the remaining enforceable provisions. Failure to exercise a right is not a waiver. A service transfer is notified and must not diminish your rights; personal-data transfers remain subject to their own legal rules. Intellectual-property rules, accrued claims and dispute provisions survive account erasure as needed; permission concerning private content does not become perpetual.
